Working in Collaborative Environments:
How to Choose and What to Use When It Comes to Wiki's and Virtual Teams
Date: March 11, 2008
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST
Location: Your desktop

The prospect of working collaboratively to create content and documents can be a challenging task, further complicated by the ever-increasing presence of virtual teams. The adoption of collaborative environments, wiki's, and user groups is changing the way that teams work together and create content. Whether your company is making the leap to a content management system, beginning to explore an internal wiki, or looking for a way to bring users into the documentation experience, you will be impacted by this synergetic way to work.
Join nSight's senior technical editor, Kate Wrightson Merlino, and program manager, Danielle Levy, as they take you through the process of understanding the benefits of the most common collaborative environments. They will highlight practical applications for working collaboratively, offering advice from their own real-project experiences.
In this Webinar you will learn:
- The benefits of working in a collaborative environment and why it's important
- How to determine the selection criteria before deciding on a tool
- Best practices in collaboration between management and staff
- How to identify the value of a collaborative environment and "sell" it to management
Who Should Attend
Documentation managers, technical writers and editors, content developers, and others responsible for producing and sharing product documentation and technical information.
